James Stevenson, Global Sales Director at Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) will talk about the future of business travel. He will discuss the concerns of business travel costs, ease of travel and security which are shared by many exporters who still value face to face meetings with their customers.

James was appointed as Global Sales Director in 2011.  He is responsible for all aspects of the global sales strategy and performance. Since 1986, when James joined HRG he worked in the global sales arena, leading and managing HRG’s account management teams across the Nordic countries, France and Italy and in China where he  was appointed as the original General Manager of HRG’s joint venture in China, HRG Jin Jiang China.

Upon relocating back to the UK in 2009 and he became Executive Vice President, ASPAC, responsible for all client facing activity for the Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) across Asia, including new sales and existing managed customers.

James graduated in Business Studies and Finance. He was born in 1967 and is married with 2 children. He is a keen marathon runner and cyclist.

Andrew Rowley of LangCommLive will give a brief demonstration of on-demand telephone interpreting for business travellers.

There will be a buffet, drinks and networking followed by the presentations at 7pm. This will be followed by a question and answer session.
